In more Lions Gate news, on the DVD front, a couple of direct-to-video flicks were announced for release next year that were snatched up by Fango.
First up is writer/director Kevin Kangas’ follow-up to HUNTING HUMANS called FEAR OF CLOWNS, in which an artist suffering from coulrophobia (“fear of clowns” for you non-psychology folk) finds her friends falling victim to a murderous clown similar to one she has painted. The disk hits shelves February 28 and will include an audio commentary by Kangas, a No Clowning Around making-of featurette and deleted scenes. Go here for the film’s official site.
The other releases include two based-on-true-events flicks from director Ulli Lommel, following Lions Gate’s release of ZODIAC KILLER earlier this year. GREEN RIVER KILLER arrives January 3, with commentary by Lommel and a $26.98 retail price; BTK KILLER follows in May, with extras and price yet to be announced.
