After reporting the new pics that surfaced for the remake on a fansite for the films, I decided to go back and watch the original HILLS HAVE EYES. After watching it again, I must say that I agree with Arrow. I take back what I said yesterday. This is one of those few execptions where a remake is necessary. Plus, after much thinking (and watching HAUTE TENSION again), I’d like to see Alexander Aja pull it off.

Over at Blackfilm, they’ve posted a banner for the remake which was made by the same folks who run the unofficial fan site, Eyes On The Hills. Click the pic below for a larger version of the banner. THE HILLS HAVE EYES spies a March 10th release next year.
