Good ol’ Apple.com. While I’m no fan of Macs, I do have an iPod and Apple’s Quicktime site always has some kickass trailers, like this one.
SLITHER, directed by James Gunn, has hit the web with a new trailer, which you can either view at the film’s official site, or by heading over to Apple.com to see it. The trailer starts out by putting classics like HALLOWEEN and THE THING down, calling them movies for ‘sissies’, then proceeds to throw more slime and creepy crawlies your way like nobody’s business. ‘Something’s wrong with me’ indeed. EIGHT LEGGED FREAKS ain’t got nothin’ on SLITHER. The film, starring Gregg Henry, Michael Rooker and Elizabeth Banks oozes into theatres March 31st of next year.
When Starla’s husband Grant is infected with an alien parasite, which has turned him into a slithering, flesh-eating creature, she enlists the help of Bill, the police chief, to deal with her husband. As Grant’s murder spree evolves from pets to people, the disease threatens to overrun the town with slithering, worm-like creatures. Now it’s up to Starla and Bill to stop the plague before it spreads further and kills everything on Earth.
