After a deliciously twisted turn in THE HOLE, Thora Birch unfortunately disappeared from our beloved genre for far too long (we’ll all ignore DUNGEONS & DRAGONS out of respect for her talent and other fun attributes). But the wait is over!
Variety announced today that she is currently shooting a horror flick in London called DARK CORNERS. It is the story of a troubled young woman who falls asleep and wakes up as someone else, stalked by hideous creatures.
Sounds good to me! Especially since being stalked by hideous creatures sounds like code to me for Thora and her Birch’s running around a lot. That’s almost as lovely a sound as Alba in a bikini to me!
All perviness aside however, she’s one hell of an actress and I’m psyched she’s coming back to the genre.
