Remember how I was saying that I’d be broke next month? Well, here’s two reasons. Lion’s Gate just sent over a package of info on two of the bigger DVD releases the company’s having next month. Those big releases being HIGH TENSION (or HAUTE TENSION for purists) and UNDEAD.
First up is HIGH TENSION starring Cécile de France and Maïwenn LeBesco. The film scored big-time with positive reviews all around, despite the small box office reception here in North America. Lion’s Gate makes up for that by giving the film a four star treatment on DVD, with rated and unrated cuts of the film on October 11th (but seriously, do you really want the rated cut?). Here’s the skinny on what’s included:

Next is UNDEAD, which stars Felicity Mason and Mungo McKay. The Aussie horror film that been getting as much praise as HAUTE TENSION, UNDEAD comes to Region 1 fans also on October 11th. I say Region 1 because fans in Europe have had a superb DVD release for a while now. Good things come to those who wait, eh? Here’s what’s on the disk:
