SciFi Wire got a nice interview with Shia LaBeouf in which he gives hope to the long rumored big screen adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s DEATH.
“Me and Neil Gaiman are working on Death right now. We’re trying to turn that into a film. Neil is the guy who wrote Sandman. And Death was one of his graphic novels that we’re trying to make.”
The graphic novel followed the exploits of Death, personified as a sort of Avril Lavigne type chick. For more on the plot click here.
In other news it appears that a CONSTANTINE sequel is unlikely: “It’s a money thing. It didn’t make enough money … domestically for them to [do it]. It’s an expensive movie. They had to make a lot of money back to get their money back.”
Not a huge surprise, but an unfortunate fate for a property with a ton of potential.
