It’s been a while since we heard any info on the upcoming RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD sequels, other than news that both films (NECROPOLIS and RAVE TO THE GRAVE) were looking at an October 7th limited release with RAVE being released first. However, according to SciFi.com, both films will be heading to TV, debuting October 15th on the Sci-Fi Channel, leaving the limited theatrical release up in the air. In NECROPOLIS, Peter Coyote stars as shady science entrepreneur Charles Garrison, using a radioactive trioxin compound in covert experiments to turn the recently deceased into killing machines. In RAVE TO THE GRAVE, Garrison’s nephew ends up finding two secreted barrels of the trioxin and manufacturing from it an Ecstasy-type drug that turns Halloween partygoers into crazed ghouls.
