Good news my friends! Variety announced today that yet another company has set up a genre shingle. Let me be one of the first to say “YAY!” Odd Lot Entertainment has launched Dark Lot Entertainment which will focus on horror, thriller and suspense pics in the 3 to 15 million range.
Their first project is a 3-pic anthology called THE HORROR CHRONICLES. Each part will mark the feature directing debut of screenwriters Neal Marshall Stevens (13 GHOSTS), Richard Jeffries (COLD CREEK MANOR), and Art Monterastelli (THE HUNTED). All of them are going the writer/director route with the project.

No word on the story lines yet, but it sounds like an ambitious and artist friendly approach the boys are taking, so let’s all wish them luck!
