Hurricane Katrina has managed to muck up production on two genre productions down in Louisiana with her impressive blow job. Hilary Swank starrer THE REAPING evacuated many of the cast and crew to Austin, with Swank returning to her home in NY. No word on when production will restart.
Also catching hell was the CBS telefilm VAMPIRE BATS starring Lucy Lawless. The cast and crew of that one considered themselves lucky just to have made it as far as Baton Rouge, where they were taken in by residents.
Now many of our regular readers know that my heart, as well as most of my liver, is in Louisiana. I went to high school in Baton Rouge and consider New Orleans to be one of the finest cities in the world. So I’d like to send a hearty stick in there guys! to all the good people down there. And on a more specific note – Sean, Jimmy, I hope one of you lucky bastards has Xena staying at your house.
