Moonface = Creepy

Our buds over at Dread Central have scored yet another look at the MASTERS OF HORROR series coming up on Showtime. This time it’s a shot of Moonface, the demented serial killer in Don Corscarelli’s INCIDENT ON AND OFF A MOUNTAIN ROAD. Click on his crooked grin on the right to see the full glory.

Not only does Moonface look great, but the synopsis kicks much ass too: Based on Joe R. Lansdale’s short story of the same title, this film pits Ellen (Bree Turner), a seemingly defenseless young woman, against Moonface, a deformed and demented serial killer. As the story cuts back and forth in time, we slowly discover that our heroine is not as helpless or as innocent as she initially seems. Trained by her abusive husband, Bruce (Ethan Embry), to be a survivalist, instructed to use any and every available object as a weapon in a time of need, Ellen gets to test the real-life application of these lessons.

Sweet! This also affords me an opportunity to point you to the teaser trailer for MASTERS OF HORROR. I meant to write it up earlier, but I got delayed because…well it’s too painful to relate the whole story, but let’s just say it involved albinos, a trampoline and a trip to Waffle House.

But enough about me…go watch the Flash-embedded trailer! You know you wanna.
