Fusco’s Wolf Brother

Variety is reporting today that the writer of YOUNG GUNS, John Fusco, is adpating the collection of books by Michelle Paver entitled WOLF BROTHER, which is part 1 of THE CHRONICLES OF DARKNESS.

Since I’ve never heard of this series, here’s what it will be about:

The children’s book is set 6,000 years ago when evil stalks the land. Only twelve-year-old Torak and his wolf-cub companion can defeat it. Their journey together takes them through deep forests, across giant glaciers, and into dangers they never imagined.

Cool. I love evil stalking the land. We need more CHRONICLES OF… movies, as NARNIA looks cool, but tame, WOLF BROTHER just sounds dark- my kind of flick! Of course, Fusco’s also behind HIDLAGO, so let’s just hope he got all his suckiness out of his system….
