It warms my heart sometimes to see that that it’s not just the US that automatically assumes because someone is talented in one aspect of the entertainment industry that they will definitely be talented in another. I mean how many actors turned singers, or singers turned actors, do we need to see before realizing that being a double threat is hard and rarely done well?
Nevertheless, our Aussie friends are betting on their own Tammin Sursok to do right by both mods. In fact, her story is Soap Star turned singer turned actor. Despite her assertion that, “Acting is everything I am not and music is everything I am.” To which I would say, then don’t f*cking act! But strangely my opinion on the matter was not sought out.
Anyway, it’s a little genre project she’ll be hopping on called DYING BREED. The flick concerns a series of murders that took place in the 1800’s with Sursok playing a young woman who goes back in time to investigate them.
The concept has promise. And I’ll just presume for now that Ms. Sursok is a legit double threat. Mostly ’cause she’s really fun to look at and I’m shallow.
