Video game maker THQ, Inc. is going to take a shot at a filmic adaptation of their recent release DESTROY ALL HUMANS. Sort of WAR OF THE WORLDS from the alien’s perspective.
In the game players use destructive weapons and innate mental powers to take on the most feared enemy in the galaxy – Mankind! Gamers control Crypto, an alien warrior sent to Earth to clear the way for the Furon invasion force.
Sounds like fun if you can get over the basic problem of a game that encourages mass human destruction in this day and age. I’m guessing their target market can.

Just as a quick editorial comment – I’m glad to see that the newest GRAND THEFT AUTO game is catching holy hell for having an unlockable sex scene, but nobody in congress has said word one about a game called DESTROY ALL HUMANS, which oh by the way is rated as appropriate for teens.
