I for one saw this one coming a mile and a half away, but it looks like Lions Gate is looking to release a DVD double-dip of SAW this October.
Seeing as SAW II is hitting theaters the same month, what other way to have people remember a movie that came out last October than release another DVD version of it? I’m sure it’ll bring more in the theater, if nothing else…
Davis DVD doesn’t have the details , but rumor has it- new commentary tracks, and another featurette. And probably a little bit different cover art. That’s about it.
So, if you haven’t bought SAW yet- wait. And if you have already, don’t kick yourself too hard- the new version isn’t all that bumpin’. The new SAW:SPECIAL EDITION hits shelves October 4th.
