Not familiar with Brit production shingle ? Well prepare to pay attention to these boys because they are getting their feet bloody in the genre pool.
The company will now co-produce the remake of THE WICKER MAN. Neil LaBute (IN THE COMPANY OF MEN) will direct and Nicholas Cage will star. Presumably the basic gambit of the flick will change somewhat, since Cage’s character in the original was a virgin. Hard to believe anyone’s gonna buy that now.
In addition to shelling out some coin for this project, is also putting their money behind Bruce Beresford’s “The Contract,” starring John Cusack and Morgan Freeman, and Tobe Hooper’s horror movie “Zombies.”
