THE WIG is a new Korean horror flick scheduled to hit in August. It’s about, um…don’t laugh, but it’s about a haunted wig. OK, so it’s hard to imagine how a movie about a haunted wig could really be scary. But then again, you haven’t seen the trailer yet. Trust me when I tell you that you will change your mind.
Before we get to that, though, a little more info on the premise: Chae Min-seo (Champion) is Su-hyeon a girl suffering from cancer and Yu Seon (The Uninvited) plays her sister Ji-hyeon. Due to the treatments to fight her malignant cancer, Su-hyeon loses all of her hair. She takes to wearing a wig, although she cannot remember who gave it to her, to cover her baldness but the evil hairpiece begins to cause Su-hyeon to change.
Now it’s time to check out the trailer, and most likely find yourself as surprised as I was that a movie called THE WIG looks like it’s going to kick major ass!
