Got an email late last night from filmmaker John McLean who is currently in pre-production in Austin, TX (love that town) on Z: A ZOMBIE MUSICAL!
That’s not a typo friends. I’ll let him describe it to you – Z is a wacky comedy that tells its story from the Zombies’ point-of-view, rather than the traditional way around. Instead of a bunch of semi-mindless Humans, the picture features intelligent, sexually liberated and sometimes philosophical Zombies! Oh, and it’s also a
Musical…and it features lots of utterly gratuitous nudity!

Well I love to root for the little guy anyway, but when you mix zombies, gratuitous nudity, sexual liberation and a musical, I’m kinda pre-sold on the concept. You can check out the Official Site to enjoy production art, more enthusiastic descriptions of the flick, and most importantly, teaser trailers that feature lots of the aforementioned nudity. That includes a naked zombie pillow fight.
Yeah you heard me right.
Flick shoots this summer for a Christmas release (what better time really?) Stay tuned for more info as the production proceeds, as I’ll definitely keep an eye on this one. And if you feel like jumping into the movie financing biz, or just want to take a shot at some naked zombie time, don’t be shy about contacting McLean at john@azombiemusical.com.
