Kristen Bell (VERONICA MARS) sat down to chat with the menches over at about her role in the upcoming remake of PULSE. In case you don’t recall, the story line is as follows:
Bell, who actually saw the original, dropped the skinny on what drew her to the role – “You don’t always know, reading a script, how the director is going to interpret your character, and what I really liked about Pulse after meeting with the director [Jim Sonzero] was his attitude about the project. He wanted to go really punk. The whole project, unto itself, is about this lonely quality that people have and it’s sort of the horror about that. It’s a very difficult project to describe. It’s based a lot on loneliness…I liked the way he spoke about it and the ideas he had. That’s why I joined up.”
Wow! Unresolved high school geek issues aside, this sounds like the kind of project that will have me shotgunning beers and thinking about jumping off a cliff when it’s over.
I mean that as a compliment.
