In an interview with ContactMusic.com, shock rocker and all around great guy Alice Cooper dropped what strikes me as one helluva genre idea. He mused a bit about what exactly has kept fellow rockers, and hard core body abusers like Keith Richards and Iggy Pop alive all this time.
Says the Coop: “Iggy shouldn’t be alive at all… He’s like an old baseball glove… and Keith Richards should have been dead years ago. Nobody can live through that.
Of course, he gets new blood every year; he has a 15-year-old Swedish girl’s blood in him right now.
But there’s a great horror movie there somewhere because where does his old blood go…? They have to drain it and dump it somewhere. I love that idea.”
So do I Mr. Cooper. So do I. Unfortunately it probably would only get made in the US as a remake of a flick about an Asian rock star. Guess for now we’ll just have to make due with a pic of a Swedish babe who is absolutely NOT 15-years old!
