It’s Halloween, but who wants to be bothered with a regular ole’ fake haunted house. Why not just break into a real one? Or in the case of BOO, a group of college students choose a haunted hospital.

Poor judgement aside, it’s a nice set up for some classic horror scares if handled well, and the new trailer for BOO shows a lot of promise. Plus you have to like director Anthony C. Ferrante’s approach:
I think there was something very potent the way horror movies used to made…They relied more on creating atmosphere and setting up great scares, something that is some times lost today. When you’re an independent horror film, you have to find a way to get under people’s skin with limited resources and money and I think there’s definitely something for everyone to be afraid of in this movie.
Judging by the trailer it looks this will be one sick, dark, SESSION 9-y kind of a ride.
