After notable turns in THE SIXTH SENSE and DREAMCATCHER, it appears that Donnie Wahlberg is returning to the genre. Variety reports that he has joined the cast of SAW 2. Other confirmed cast members are Franky G., Glenn Plummer, Emmanuelle Vaugier, Beverley Mitchell and Eric Knudsen, with Shawnee Smith, Dina Meyer and Tobin Bell returning from the original.
So it’s always good to see former NKOTB members keepin’ it real yo. I believe this development probably gives the genre some much needed karmic balance since Mark Wahlberg was the FEAST producers dream lead, but that fell through.
