David Duchovny, taking time off from whipping X-FILES fans into a lather with big screen sequel talk, has signed on to THE SECRET for director Vincent Perez. Perez makes his English-language debut with the pic – a remake of the Japanese film HIMITSU.
The story is set against an emotional triangle among a 16-year-old girl, her mother and her father. After the mother is killed in an accident, her spirit inhabits the daughter’s body.
Ummm, let’s just call it things that make you go ewww. Joining Duchovny are Lili Taylor (THE HAUNTING) as the mother, and ingenue Olivia Thirlby.
