Variety confirmed today what we first told you about here. Lucy Liu will indeed topline the horror flick RISE from Ghost House Pictures. She’ll play a reporter who wakes up in a morgue, undead and ready for revenge. She then goes on to hunt down the vampires responsible one by one. Kind of a chick-BLADE from the sounds of it. Let me be the first to say I can definitely get in line for that!
The pic is scheduled to go before the cameras this summer with Sebastian Gutierrez responsible for both script and direction. I guess I could write some other stuff about the project, but I’m really only confirming our earlier story as a base excuse to post sweet pics of Ms. Liu, so let’s not beat around the bush (get your mind out of the gutter mofo’s!)
