Turns out that always luscious, often quirky, Selma Blair will be following in the footsteps of none other than Adrienne Barbeau for the upcoming remake of John Carpenter’s THE FOG. The young lass will be responsible for bringing the DJ and lighthouse owner’s character to life. And of course for making us believe she’s actually scared of fog.
Also joining her in the cast are DeRay Davis (BARBERSHOP) and Rade Serbedzija (SNATCH). No early word, since it’s not just Barbeau’s shoes that Blair will need to fill, if we’ll be getting her lithe natural form, or the gargantuanly top-heavy vision that John Water’s lovingly provided us in A DIRTY SHAME.
Either way, she can man my lighthouse anytime!
