McG (CHARLIE’S ANGELS), one of the members of the Makers of Entertaining Trash Club, is teaming up with Endgame Entertainment to produce the new horror flick STAY ALIVE.
Based in New Orleans, ALIVE is about a group of sexpot teens (aren’t they always?) playing their favorite online horror video game. Sound scary? Here’s the punch: as their characters die in the game, the players die in real life.
To be directed by Brent Bell, with effects done by video game producer American McGee, the flick has plans to start shooting in March, on location in New Orleans.
Not to say that I don’t secretly enjoy McG’s projects, whether he’s directing, or producing (FASTLANE, THE O.C.), entertaining (trash) is written all over it. Either way, this one sounds fun, and might overshadow the fact that McG also has plans on remaking REVENGE OF THE NERDS…. Stay tuned for casting info. as we find out what hotties plan on showing skin, and being slaughtered.
