On November 29th, Godzilla finally gets his day in Hollywood. After 50 years in the spotlight, and 28 feature films under his belt, the oversized fire breathing radioactive lizard finally gets his name on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, reports Yahoo Movies. The ceremony is set in accordance to the world premier of Godzilla Final Wars from Toho Pictures, Inc. This, his final flick being played by a dude in a rubber suite, has him battling more than 10 monsters through Paris, New York, Shanghai and Sydney- all in miniaturized destructive glory. It brings a tear to my eye to think we will no longer be able to look forward to more installments of these awesomely bad films, but all good things must come to an end. As long as they keep Roland Emmerich’s Godzilla from ever returning to the big screen, we can all rest in peace with the knowledge that Godzilla will forever live on Hollywood Boulevard.
