Craven’s New Wild Card

While we’re all still waiting for Cursed to hit theaters, master of horror Wes Craven has acquired Marshall Moseley’s thriller screenplay Wild Card, a finalist in the latest Project Greenlight screenplay contest. Variety reports Craven’s looking to direct this story for Dimension Films, about a con-artist couple who’s latest con goes horribly wrong. Sounds promising enough I guess, and Craven usually doesn’t hold back on the gore. I’m glad he’s starting to go back into his horror roots, and while Cursed has had it’s problems finally getting released, I’m totally excited to see it. I mean, Christina Ricci, Shannon Elizabeth and werewolves– what else do you need? And as long as Wild Card isn’t another Music of the Heart, count me to be first in line!
