Released in some countries under the title Hounded, a “Most Dangerous Game“-type action thriller from director Tommy Boulding is now set to reach theatres in the U.S. as Hunted tomorrow, October 21st. In anticipation of the film’s U.S. release, we’ve gotten our hands on an EXCLUSIVE clip from the movie that shows how its “humans hunting humans” scenario gets started. Check it out in the embed above!

Hunted will also be receiving a VOD release on October 25th.

Scripted by Ray Bogdanovich and Dean Lines, Hunted follows a gang of young thieves in the midst of a home robbery who get more than they bargained for when they are captured by the property owners. Attacked and bound by their captors, they are spirited away from the home and released in the middle of nowhere tracked, hunted and to be killed like animals. Pursued by bloodhounds and a heavily armed family, the resourceful thieves will not die without a fight.

The film stars Samantha Bond (GoldenEye), Malachi Pullar-Latchman (Shark Bait), James Lance (Bronson), Hannah Traylen (Boiling Point), Nick Moran (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows), James Faulkner (Game of Thrones), Larry Lamb (EastEnders), Nobuse Jnr (South Beast), Matt Addis (Queen Victoria’s Men), Duncan Casey (Accident Man), Chris Porter (Murder on the Orient Express), Katrina Syran (The Lady from the Sea), Heather Tracy (The Last Kill), Louis Walwyn (The Bastard Son & the Devil Himself), and newcomer Ross Coles.

What did you think of the exclusive clip from Hunted? Will you be watching this movie in theatres this weekend or on VOD next week? Share your thoughts on this one by leaving a comment below. Most Dangerous Game stories where humans are the prey are often pretty entertaining, so I’ll be taking a look at Hunted before this Halloween season is over.
