Trailer delivered for horror-comedy Prevenge about a killer fetus!

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Parenthood is scary, sex is scary, hell human contact is scary. But I think there is something especially scary about motherhood, such as the simple fact that something is growing inside you. Sure, it can be a beautiful thing, but there have already been a few memorable horror films that dealt with this potential body-horror subject, but none quite like Shudder's horror-comedy PREVENGE, which delivered a new trailer that you can watch at the top of the article.

Here's the official synopsis:

Ruth’s misanthropic unborn baby speaks to her from the womb, coaching her to lure and ultimately kill her unsuspecting victims. Struggling with her conscience, loneliness, and a strange strain of prepartum madness, Ruth must ultimately choose between redemption and destruction at the moment of motherhood.

Meanwhile, PREVENGE – directed by Alice Lowe and starring Gemma Whelan, Kate Dickie, and Jo Hartley – will premiere on Digital, DVD, and Blu-Ray August 18th!

So what do you guys think? Any other great movies about killer babies (besides IT'S ALIVE)? Either way, sound off below!
