A familiar face from the original Ninja Turtles will pop up in TMNT 2

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Say what you will about last year's TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES, but director David Green is putting together an interesting cast for his sequel. At the beginning of this month we got word that Laura Linney would be joining TMNT 2 (in an unspecified role), and we already know that Tyler Perry will be playing Madea Baxter Stockman. To serve up an extra special slice of nostalgia, set pictures have revealed that the original April O'/Neil from the 90s flick, Judith Hoag, will also be making an appearance in the sequel. You can check her out, along with some new pics of Megan Fox and Will Arnett.

Whether or not Hoag is just making cameo is up in the air, but considering she's been staying busy on TV all these years, I'd love if her role was more extensive. Despite the first film not being much of a critical success, there's obviously still a lot of love for these heroes in a half-shell, so I'm hoping TMNT 2 brings less Michael Bay and more fun to the table. If not, well, at least we have Megan Fox in the outfit below.

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES 2 aims to hit theaters on June 3, 2016.
