So…UNDERWORLD: AWAKENING huh? I haven’t seen an UNDERWORLD film since the original and I’m not sure I plan on seeing AWAKENING just because Kate Beckinsale is back and they’ve added some 3D. This franchise, like RESIDENT EVIL, surprises me with its longevity in the face of unoriginality. I mean, is there anything left to even say?
Apparently there was one last grey corridor for Selene to walk down. A bunch of new pics from the film have been released online and it seems the film could’ve been retitled UNDERWORLD: HALLWAY. At least they’re sticking with the grey/blue color palette for these films. (And speaking of RESIDENT EVIL, how long before Sony just combines these franchises for one big UNDERWORLD/RESIDENT EVIL crossover?)
