A road trip goes to hell in Wrecker trailer, starring Anna Hutchison

Ah the road trip, one of those activities about 99% certain to end in catastrophe. Seriously, folks, don’t do it. You’ll wind up dead or, short of that, forced to commit vicious murder in order to save your own life. Said life to be forever ruined, of course, by the savage memories of your horrific venture into the hell that exists outside your immediate neighborhood.

Now that I’ve trashed the general idea of a road trip, I share with you the official trailer for WRECKER which is about, you guessed it, a cross-country drive that begins innocently enough but is predictably turned upside down by a madman behind the wheel of a semi. The usual. The film stars Anna Hutchison (THE CABIN IN THE WOODS) and Drea Whitburn and was directed by Michael Bafaro (EMBEDDED).

Best friends Emily and Lesley go on a road trip to the desert. When Emily decides to get off the highway and take a “short cut,” they become the target of a relentless and psychotic trucker who forces them to play a deadly game of cat and mouse.

WRECKER comes out in theaters on November 6th and VOD/iTunes November 10th!
