Warner Bros. has figured out the way to resurrect to the “Detective” film – make the Detective a freakin’ skeleton! Yup, the studio has purchased the rights to the comic book SKULDUGGERY. In the comic book the Detective is a boney sleuth who kicks some ass. I’m not sure how this will translate on film, but apparently Warner is hoping for a franchise.
The comic book is actually called “Skulduggery Pleasant,” and was created by Derek Landy, who will adapt the material to the big screen.
