Apologies in advance for the absence of major details in this story; it’s a project that certainly sounds like it has potential, but we’re simply very much in the dark when it comes to plot specifics. Perhaps it’s better that way..?

Writer Aron Eli Coleite has just sold a spec script to New Regency Pictures called HELLBENT. Unfortunately, not much is being revealed about the project; all we know is that it’s being described as a prison escape movie with supernatural elements.

Coleite was a writer/producer on NBC’s “Heroes” and he’s also one of the credited writers on ABC’s Oren Peli horror series “The River”, which debuts in February. Coleite has a background in comics, having penned issues of “V.I.C.E.”, “Ultimate X-Men” and more.

No director has been paired with HELLBENT yet, although Erwin Stoff (I AM LEGEND) and Michael Green (GREEN LANTERN) will produce.
