Floating head syndrome” has been a theme on movie posters for quite a while. But will cropped facial close-ups be the next trend?

These two posters would be an argument for that point. While everyone is probably familiar with THE A-TEAM (including the weirdly earless B.A. Baracus) and it may be the summer’s scruffiest action flick, the one-sheet for DINNER FOR SCHMUCKS isn’t going to tell you much about the movie other than it features most of Steve Carell and Paul Rudd’s faces…
