A24 to auction items from their recent hit films for charity

Attention indie movie fans! If you're looking to donate money toward COVID-19 relief as well as add to your growing collection of film memorabilia at the same time, A24 has organized an auction for you! As part of a platform to help benefit New York City workers and their families that've been impacted by the COVID-19 crisis, the studio is giving fans a chance to bid on props, costumes, and set pieces from their most popular films.

What kind of items, you ask? To begin, A24 is looking to place original props, wardrobe, and set pieces from MIDSOMMAR, UNCUT GEMS, EIGHTH GRADE, THE LIGHTHOUSE and more up for bid. One hundred percent of the proceeds will be going to one of four charities: the FDNY Foundation, Food Bank for NYC, NYC Health + Hospitals, and Queens Community House.

Among the items to be listed are the May Queen dress from MIDSOMMAR, Kevin Garnett's (Adam Sandler) Celtics jersey from UNCUT GEMS, and the carved wooden mermaid from director Robert Eggers' THE LIGHTHOUSE.

Bidding will go live today at 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. PT via A24auctions.com

Personally, I'd be willing to throw down on Florence Pugh's flower crown, or one of those righteous bear suits from MIDSOMMAR. I also wonder if that tacky, gem-covered Furby from UNCUT GEMS will be a part of the auction? Oh, what about Willem Dafoe's pipe from THE LIGHTHOUSE? Or a string of garrote wire from HEREDITARY?
