Do you guys remember that TV series ABC has heading our way about Edgar Allan Poe? Considering it was just last week that I told you about it I would hope so!
Well it seems ABC aren’t fooling around with this one considering they’ve already tapped a director for the pilot episode! According to the guys over at Bloody-Disgusting none other than Alex Graves has scored the gig. Now I say none other than because Graves is no stranger to big ticket premieres, directing the pilot episodes for both J.J. Abrams’ “Fringe” and Steven Spielberg’s “Terra Nova.” So with a couple credits like that I think it’s safe to say “Poe” may be something worth checking out!
“Poe” is a crime procedural following Edgar Allan Poe, the world’s very first detective, as he uses unconventional methods to investigate dark mysteries in 1840s Boston.
Described as Sherlock Holmes with a hint of “X-Files” and “Moonlighting,” “Poe’s” one-hour premiere episode is expected to start shooting on March 14th in Toronto so I’m sure we’ll be getting plenty more updates in the coming weeks.
