Doing their best to prove the movie isn’t simply for kids, DreamWorks has just issued a new trailer for Jon Favreau’s COWBOYS & ALIENS. It’s an action-packed fusion of western and alien film tropes – what with saloons, quick-draws and jailhouses on one side – levitation, invasion and mysterious light beams on the other. And of course, there’s Harrison Ford’s doddering old west scowl…
Beaming into theaters July 29th, COWBOYS & ALIENS picks up in:
1873. Arizona Territory. A stranger with no memory of his past stumbles into the hard desert town of Absolution. The only hint to his history is a mysterious shackle that encircles one wrist.
