Jolie is WANTED… too…
I must say that this entire news bite should be considered a SPOILER for WANTED… and its sequel.
Everyone who hasn’t seen WANTED gone? Okay, good. So we all know that there’s a WANTED 2 in development, with Evan Spiliotopoulos writing the script. We’ve also kinda known that they intend to have Angelina Jolie return, even though she got shot in the head at the end of the first film. But how – HOW – can this be pulled off?
Director Timur Bekmambetov discussed this issue a bit with MTV: “If you remember from the first film, we have a recovery room with the baths of wax… We know how to do this, but it’s still tough to do, because the bullet is inside her head.”
“But there has to be a reason for her to come back… and we know the reason. I think we found the reason for her to come back.”
I guess after that bullet passed through all those other heads, it might be a little weak toward the very end, right..?
QUEEN AND COUNTRY film
From one action hottie to another (to be named later), here we have QUEEN AND COUNTRY, which is the potential BOURNE IDENTITY with boobs. The screenplay was written by Ryan Condal, who has the highly-touted, but unproduced, GALDAHAD screenplay to his credit.
From The Hollywood Reporter: The project, based on Greg Rucka’s Oni Press comic, centers on a female Special Ops agent who is on the run after carrying out a high-level assassination in Eastern Europe.
The trade goes on to say that Nicole Kidman (pictured below, lookin; good) was at one time attached to the project… 20th Century Fox is developing the script… We’ll see if this one goes anywhere, or if it goes the route of GALAHAD..
