Ever since Adam Driver wrapped his role as Ben Solo/Kylo Ren for Disney's Star Wars universe, it feels as if every studio wants a piece of what the in-demand actor has to offer. While continuing to sort his Hollywood dance card for the next year or so, Driver has recently joined the cast of Sony's 65, an upcoming science-fiction thriller written and directed by A Quiet Place scribes Scott Beck and Bryan Woods.

Beck and Woods will also produce the project via their newly established Beck/Woods studio with Sam Raimi and Zainab Azizi also producing with Debbie Liebling through Raimi Productions. 65 also sets up a reunion for Beck, Woods, and Raimi, as the duo recently wrote and directed an episode of Raimi's Quibi series 50 States of Fright. Plot details for the original story are being kept under lock and key at this time. It's also unknown as to when the movie will go into production on account of Driver having so many projects in his back pocket. Right now, the actor is in the midst of shooting THE LAST DUEL for Ridley Scott. Production on Scott's period drama had been delayed due to COVID-19, though cameras have recently started rolling once more.

Where Driver will land after wrapping Scott's THE LAST DUEL is anyone's guess at this time. That said, there's a chance that the Star Wars alum will remain with Scott for the filming of Gucci, in which Driver will co-star alongside Lady Gaga.
