Robert Shaye, the founder of New Line Cinema who was a major guiding force behind the NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET franchise (and has a cameo in several of the movies), is now working with Netflix to bring us a new genre film that sounds quite intriguing – NIGHT TEETH.

iBOY director Adam Randall has signed on to take the helm of NIGHT TEETH, which is described as "an electric, youth-driven thriller with a genre twist". Written by Brent Dillon, the film will take place

over the course of a night in Los Angeles. A young chauffeur drives two beautiful young women to different parties. They’re not who they claim to be, and he ends up in a fight for his life.

The title leads me to assume that these young women may be vampires, but of course they could also be cannibals or some kind of flesh-eating ghoul. We'll have to wait and see.

Shaye will be executive producing NIGHT TEETH through his company Unique Features, while Unique's Vincent Gatewood serves as producer alongside Ben Pugh and Charlie Morrison of 42. 42's Erica Steinberg will also be executive producing.

Before NIGHT TEETH reaches Netflix, Randall's film I SEE YOU, a horror-thriller starring Helen Hunt, will be getting a theatrical release courtesy of Saban Films in December.
