Adam Wingard to direct an adaptation of the comic Hardcore

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Deadline reports that Godzilla vs. Kong director Adam Wingard is now attached to direct an adaptation of Robert Kirkman's (The Walking Dead, Invincible) comic Hardcore…on top of his already announced Face/Off 2, live-action ThunderCats, and new MonsterVerse movie (rumored to be Son of Kong).

Here's the official synopsis:

Hardcore is an action/sci fi thriller following a soldier’s journey as he saves the world without getting his hands dirty.

Obviously no official start or release date as of yet, but we'll keep you posted!

So what do you guys think? Fans of Hardcore (the comic)? If so, looking forward to Wingard bringing it to life? Either way, sound off below!
