You would think after the poop-fest known as THE RETURN, Sarah Michelle Gellar would steer away from these crappy psychological horror/thrillers for awhile. I don’t know, do a comedy or something… anything… but please, give us all a break! Alas, that was not to be…
The trailer for Gellar’s latest dip into psychological horror, ADDICTED, just hit online today, and besides it being one of the longest trailers ever created, it’s also kinda… boring. ADDICTED goes like this: A woman’s life is thrown into chaos after a freak car accident sends her husband and brother-in-law into comas. Thrills arrive after the brother-in-law wakes up, thinking he’s his brother.
The film was formerly known as POSSESSION (a much better title, if you ask me), and after checking out the trailer HERE, I think it’s safe to say that you won’t feel any need or desire to actually sit through the entire movie- you’ll get what you’re looking for in just under 4 minutes. Though considering the subject matter, you’ll likely be dragged to it by your girlfriend or wife, as they’ll be convinced that it actually looks ‘good’. Ah well… Gellar is still hot, so at least you’ll have that look forward to.
ADDICTED hits theaters everywhere February 29th, 2008.
