Adult Swim goes undead

With the sort of ‘substances’ that
I’ve used over the years, it’s only natural that I would develop such a fondness
for Adult Swim’s AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE. Their 11 minute stints have been
a guilty pleasure for some years, and more often than not I’m left with sore
sides from laughing so hard at them. So when I hear stuff like
“ATHF creator” and “zombies”
together in one sentence it makes me feel like I should run out and stock up on
Frito’s and Ice Blue Kool-Aid; because I know there’s an awesomeness storm
coming. (Awesomeness storm? There’s another sign of the ‘substance’ abuse.)

The guys over at

FEARnet.com
reported today that the creator’s
of ATHF are putting together a new show for Adult Swim entitled STIFF,
and in addition to it looking and sounding awesome it will also be live action!

STIFF will follow a detective
who has broken out of hell and is cursed to solve demonic cases. Now if this
isn’t cool enough, it’s also been said that STIFF will be, and I quote
“chock full of zombie action, sexy kung fu chicks, and a
ridiculous amount of gore.”
You’ll have to excuse me while I go change my
underwear.

While there hasn’t been any word yet
on a release date, a pilot was shot in early May and the picture above is
courtesy of that shoot. If you want to see what else FEARnet had to say, or

Looks like I’ll have to change my underwear again!
