Afer Dark Films will launch their new line of After Dark Originals in theaters on January 28th. The movies this year include 51, FERTILE GROUND, GROUND, HUSK, PROWL, RE-KILL, SCREAM OF THE BANSHEE, SECONDS APART, and THE TASK. The “main event” trailer, featuring clips from each picture, can be seen below.

The films will be playing at ten different locations this year. The festival says that although you may not see your city listed this year (and some of the inclusions are pretty random), it does not mean it will not be there next year. The theatrical listing is as follows:

Mentor, OH – Atlas Cinemas Diamond Center 16
Spanish Fort, AL – Eastern Shore Premiere Cinemas 14
West Hollywood, CA – Laemmle Sunset 5
Elizabeth, NJ – AMC Loews Jersey Gardens 20
South Barrington, IL – AMC South Barrington 30
Kennesaw, GA – AMC Barrett Commons 24
Grapevine, TX – AMC Grapevine Mills 30
Cambridge, MA – Entertainment Cinemas Fresh Pond
Westbrook, ME – Westbrook Cinemagic 16
Landsdale, PA – Frank Theaters Montgomeryville Stadium

If the flicks aren’t playing near you, you won’t have to wait too long to catch them; Lionsgate will release all eight movies on DVD on March 28th.
