After She Died trailer: Australian horror movie gets VOD release this month

Cranked Up Films will be giving the Australian horror movie After She Died a VOD release on September 30th, at which time the film will be available to watch on iTunes/Apple TV, Amazon Video, Google Play/YouTube Movies, and Vudu. With the release date just a few weeks away, a trailer for After She Died has arrived online and can be seen in the embed above.

Written and directed by visual effects artist Jack Dignan, who has made his feature directorial debut with this film, After She Died has the following synopsis:

Jen’s mother is dead. Her relationship with her father, John, is fractured beyond repair. Her friends, all recent high school graduates, are moving on with their lives and leaving behind the small town they once called home. Jen is, in every sense of the word, alone. That is until John introduces Jen to his new girlfriend, Florence… a woman who looks and sounds identical to Jen’s dead mother.

The film stars Liliana Ritchie as Jen, Paul Talbot as John, and Vanessa Madrid as Florence. This is the first movie for all three of them. Also in the cast are Barbara Bingham, Greg Poppleton, Ola Endress, Matias Klaver, Cassandre Girard, Andrew Miatov, Noah Fowler, Lorry D’Ercole, Adam Golledge, Thomas Magnum Ryan, Andrew Gobran, Annabelle Andrew, Mariah Stock, and Dennis Vichidvongsa.

Dignan, who also produced After She Died, previously worked in the VFX department on Thor: Love and Thunder and Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis. He was also a “health and safety assistant” on Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
