Al Pacino has met with Kevin Feige about a Marvel movie role

A few months ago while gushing about James Gunn's GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, Al Pacino said he'd be down with appearing in a Marvel movie. Yesterday Pacino appeared on Josh Horowitz's Happy Sad Confused podcast, where he revealed he has met with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, and it sounds like the studio does want the actor for a role in an upcoming movie.

When asked if Marvel contacted him after praising GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, Al Pacino said "I've met with the Marvel guy. It's a Marvel how things happen [Laughs]." Pacino goes on to confirm "that Marvel guy" was Kevin Feige, and said "Yeah. I would imagine that either there's something he feels is right for me and if I feel-" but before the actor could finish his sentence, his phone rang, and Pacino joked it was Feige trying to stop him from talking about their meeting.

Now the question is will Al Pacino actually end up starring in a Marvel movie, and who might he play? Marvel and Pacino seem to be interested in working together, so I think there's a good chance he will appear in one of their planned films. As for which character he could play, maybe Star-Lord's father, since the actor is a GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY fan. But personally, I think he'd be awesome as The Ancient One, Doctor Strange's mentor. Who would you like to see Al Pacino play in the MCU?
