So earlier this week we became hip to the news that the genre classic ALIEN was in line to be remade. Actually forget about genre this one is a classic among classics! CASABLANCA eat your heart out. But wait… what?! It’s getting remade?! Not so fast folks…
The guys over at Bloody-Disgusting overheard some rumblings that Carl Rinsch was in line to direct the next ALIEN film… and that was spot on! But according to some guy named Tony Scott the next ALIEN film won’t be a remake… but a prequel! Those beautiful bastards over at Collider caught up with Scott and asked about the rumored remake of his brother Ridley’s classic:
“Yes, Carl Rinsch is going to do the prequel to Alien.”
That’s all I need to hear! They were able to get a bit more out of him in regards to when the flick might start filming and what they plan on bringing to the plate. Head right over HERE to read the rest of the quick interview.
