Ever wondered what it would actually be like to square off against a xenomorph? Probably not, because who wants to shit their pants, but Fox Innovation Lab will give you the opportunity anyway very soon with the ALIEN: COVENANT VR Experience. Ridley Scott, director of ALIEN: COVENANT, will executive produce while David Karlak will direct.
According to Fox, the VR experience will be “a dread-inducing journey into the depths of the Alien universe. Viewers will discover the true meaning of terror as they navigate through horrifying alien environments and a story where every decision could mean the difference between life and death.”
The experience will be available as a paid title on major VR platforms. There’s no release date yet but ALIEN: COVENANT opens on May 19th so you should expect it to hit around that time.
