I’ve never heard of ALIEN LEGION but apparently it’s a huge comic series that’s been around for over 20 years! Anyone know what I’m talking about? The comic was created by Carl Potts in 1984 and basically deals with tales of war and space exploration through the eyes of a rough-and-tumble intergalactic foreign legion.
This thing supposedly has a cult following and has ‘redefined the military science-fiction genre.’ Impressive. Well the series is still very much alive over at Dark Horse and now has a big screen adaptation on the way! Actually it’s been on the way for a while now but it seems things are finally moving forward. USA Today ran an interesting story about ALIEN LEGION where it was revealed the script is currently in it’s third rewrite. Derek Haas and Michael Brandt are penning the script for super-producer Jerry Bruckheimer and Disney.
